Are the balloons listed on your website the helium filled price?
Yes. All balloons listed on our site are helium filled for delivery or pickup in Minneapolis.
What kind of balloons do you use?
Our latex balloons are made from 100% natural latex - no plastic. These balloons are biodegradable and decompose as the same rate as an oak leaf.
Latex balloons are made from rubber trees grown in rainforests of South America. Latex harvesting does not hurt the tree in any way, and discourages deforestation because latex-producing trees are left in tact. Each tree can product latex for up to 40 years.
How should I dispose of balloons?
When your party is over, "Pin it and Bin it!" Deflate all balloons and cut any ribbon into small pieces. Dispose of them in your regular waste bin.
Whilst latex balloons are 100% biodegradable, they must still be disposed of with household or commercial waste where they will decompose in landfill.
Palm & Pine is a member of the Pro Environmental Balloon Alliance (PEBA) both nationally and with our parent company in Australia. We follow a strict code of conduct to ensure a minimal impact on the environment and are committed to educating on the responsible use and disposal of balloons.
